Growing a stronger youth voice

Youth councillors from each our Area Councils recently gathered in Wellington for a youth hui. They built stronger connections, a better understanding of the role of a youth councillor, and shared ideas on goal setting and how to attract more young people to New Zealand Red Cross.

National Council Special General Meeting

As part of the Realising 2030 organisational change process, we moved from 15 area councils to seven on 1 July 2023. The new area model is intended to strengthen how we provide services and generate revenue, as well as provide a basis for growing and supporting our members and those who volunteer their time.

International delegate, Dallas Roy returns to Türkiye to support recovery after the earthquakes

Dallas Roy, an operations management specialist with many years' experience working in disaster zones, has returned to Ankara, Türkiye. His second mission will focus on supporting recovery for the thousands of people affected by the earthquakes.
