Update 12: We’ve now committed more than $20 million in support to disaster-affected communities following Cyclone Gabrielle and other severe weather events. In this update, we look back at what’s been achieved over the last six months.

Around the country, our staff, volunteers, members and whānau marked World Refugee Day and the contributions former refugees make to their communities. This is a snippet of some of these events.

As part of the Realising 2030 organisational change process, we moved from 15 area councils to seven on 1 July 2023. The new area model is intended to strengthen how we provide services and generate revenue, as well as provide a basis for growing and supporting our members and those who volunteer their time.
