Role description

We're holding an annual clothing drive on Saturday 19 October. Help support this drive by being part of a team, receiving donations of clothing at our collection points.

These donations are processed and sent to our Red Cross Shops. Funds raised through this drive go to supporting communities where the need is greatest in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas.

  • Directing traffic (high-vis vests are provided).
  • Receiving donations at collection sites.
  • Handling, loading and storing incoming donations.
  • Weighing and record-keeping.
  • Assisting the driver with loading and unloading of donated goods (travel in the truck).

Location

There are 11 collection sites to choose from:

  • six in Auckland
  • two in Christchurch, and
  • three in Wellington.
